Houston Methodist Breast Care Center at The Woodlands invites ladies to enjoy an evening of pampering while celebrating breast health awareness.
On October 5, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., ladies will enjoy complimentary mini-makeovers and manicures courtesy of Nordstrom The Woodland’s beauty bar, free massages, hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and desserts, as well as a unique opportunity to visit with our team of specialists and ask questions during a physician Q & A panel session.
During the event, guests will learn firsthand how our doctors and nurses work with our patients to help them develop a regular breast-health routine, including self-examination, and for ladies of a certain age, regular mammograms and other imaging tests.
“Breast cancer has no boundaries. It affects both genders, all ages and every race. We all know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer,” said Debbie Sukin, chief executive officer, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital and regional senior vice president, Houston Methodist. “I encourage ladies to set aside time to attend this celebration to learn how we can help them optimize their health.”
“We know our patients want the results of their mammograms as quickly as possible. At the breast care center, we can often provide those results on the very same day” said Magda Ghobashy, MD, Breast Radiologist and medical director, Houston Methodist Breast Care Center at The Woodlands. “We strive to make the process of maintaining breast health as comfortable as possible. We offer personalized schedulers to walk our patients through setting an appointment for a mammogram and follow up appointments, if needed.”
