U.S. News & World Report has ranked Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital as tied for No. 18 in Texas and tied for No. 7 in the Houston metro area in its 2024-25 Best Regional Hospitals list. The rankings are based on scores in patient care, patient safety, outcomes, nursing, advanced technology and reputation.

Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital was also recognized for several high-performing procedures and conditions, including: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; colon cancer surgery’ diabetes; heart attack; heart failure; kidney failure; pneumonia; and stroke.

 

At the system level, Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center was once again named to U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals Honor Roll and named the No. 1 hospital in Texas for the 13th year in a row. U.S. News has ranked Houston Methodist Hospital in at least one specialty for the past 32 years and has placed it on its Honor Roll for the eighth time. Additionally, three other Houston Methodist community hospitals ranked regionally including: Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital ranked No. 9 in Texas and No. 6 in the Houston metro area; Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital ranked No. 8 in Texas and No. 5 in the Houston metro area; and Houston Methodist Willowbrook tied for No. 23 in Texas and No. 9 in the Houston metro area.
