Hospital Services

Guest Relations

A team of patient relations representatives and liaisons is available to help patients and visitors with any service questions, concerns or special requests that may arise during your hospital stay.

This support is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 936.270.2732

Spiritual Care

Available for all, our trained professional chaplains and spiritual care volunteers are available for all who desire to have spiritual and emotional support. We respect the importance of the whole person in healing, including body, mind and spirit. Through a confidential and compassionate nonjudgmental listening presence, we are here to care for you as you seek wellness for your journey.

Our staff, including Catholic Eucharistic ministers, work together and offer resources such as Bibles (English and Spanish), prayer and bereavement support. The Rose Chapel and Muslim Prayer Room in the lobby entrance of Hope Tower are always open for prayer and quiet meditation.
Please make your request known to your care provider or call our main office at 936.270.2300.

Volunteers

Volunteers are a key part of our hospital. They contribute their time, services and energy to help you have a more pleasant stay. You will find them throughout the hospital. They are happy to serve you, so let them know if they can help.
Most volunteer programs are accessible Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some include after hours from 5 to 9 p.m. and weekends.

Advance Directives

Advance directives are legal documents that allow you to explain and share your wishes for medical treatment to your family, health care professionals and other key people in your life. These directives are sometimes called living wills, medical powers of attorney, or durable powers of attorney for health care. A reasonable effort will be made to obtain copies of your advance directives. We will also assist you to write or revise advance directives, if needed. Advance directives do not affect your access to care, treatment or services.

Let a member of your health care team know if you would like additional information or assistance creating advance directives. You may also visit houstonmethodist.org/advance-directives to learn more.
