Department of Medicine - Research

In addition to their practice and teaching roles, many of our physicians are actively involved in research, and have published more than 3,000 articles in peer-reviewed medical and scientific publications and journals. This research role not only keeps us abreast of the latest developments in laboratory and clinical research, but also helps us bring the latest therapies and clinical trial opportunities to our patients.

All of this work as teachers, researchers and physicians in medicine builds toward a single goal: providing patient care worthy of Houston Methodist's name and its legacy of leading medicine.
