Curriculum

Clinical Training
  • Diverse patient population with large referral base from Houston and surrounding areas
  • Comprehensive expertise in URPS; training in office cystoscopy, complex and video urodynamics, intravesical botulinum, sacral neuromodulation, posterior tibial nerve stimulation, endo-anal ultrasonography, anal manometry and other procedures
  • Extensive training in vaginal, abdominal, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence
  • Training in voiding dysfunction and neuro-urology.
  • Complex pelvic surgery including surgical repair of vesico-vaginal/recto-vaginal fistulae, placement of ureteral stents, urethral diverticulectomy, anal sphincteroplasty, and vaginal reconstruction.
  • Collaborative environment and multi-disciplinary conferences with other specialties through the Houston Methodist Center for Restorative Pelvic Medicine and weekly fellow educational conferences with the Department of Urology.
