VASA Practicum: Vascular Access Society of the Americas
This two-day practicum on hemodialysis access is a rare opportunity for healthcare professionals to have hands-on experience with surgical and interventional procedures for creating and maintaining vascular access for hemodialysis. Led by nationally recognized faculty, attendees will participate in didactic presentations, workshops and one-on-one discussions. In addition, attendees will spend a full day in the hands-on workshops with expert-guided rotations where they will practice vascular access procedures on cadavers and in a live animal lab.
In the evenings, a cocktail reception and dinner provide opportunities to network with faculty and attendees.
Physicians (including residents and fellows), nurses and technologists involved with dialysis access and maintenance. CME and CEU credits are offered.
