Athletic Training Residency at Houston Methodist Sugar Land
The mission of the Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital Athletic Training Residency is to produce advanced practitioners in rehabilitation to provide patient centered care using advanced clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills, utilize evidence based practice for effective treatment and return to play decision making, and develop community leaders in the evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries with a focus on the high school population. 

Purpose: This athletic training residency program will provide athletic trainers with advanced knowledge and manual techniques in orthopedic rehabilitation with a focus on creating community leaders in high school athletic training.

Our athletic training program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) in the country.
