About Dr. Selvi Lingam

Dr. Selvi Lingam is a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist. She completed her fellowship in Oncology and Hematology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. During her training, she has authored and co-authored several publications with emphasis on breast cancer research.
Before her fellowship accomplishments, Dr. Lingam earned her medical degree in 2001 at Kasturba Medical College in India and completed her residency at the Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is also trained in transfusion medicine at University of Cincinnati. Before moving to Houston, she was practicing at University of Maryland, St Joseph Medical Center since 2019. She treats most types of cancer and blood disorders.
