About Rebecca Lynn Martin
"Experienced in a variety of clinical settings, I provide care for adult and pediatric patients. Hearing health care continues to be my passion as I strive to improve patients’ quality of life through personalized care."
Hearing health care is my passion and I strive to improve patients’ quality of life through personalized care. From the first hearing test until treatment, I work with each person to find the optimal option and customize devices to give patients back access to the sound they have been missing in order to reconnect them to their lifestyle.
Dr. Rebecca Lynn Martin is an Audiologist in the Department of ENT Specialists at Houston Methodist Hospital. She grew up in Spring, Texas, and went on to complete her undergraduate and doctoral degrees at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Martin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and received the Dean’s Award of Excellence when graduating with her Doctorate of Audiology. She completed her residency year at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She has her Clinical Competence Certification of Audiology through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Martin also participates as a member of the Texas Speech and Hearing Association.
Dr. Martin began her career in the Texas Medical Center and joined the Houston Methodist team in October 2019. She is excited to provide diagnostic audiologic exams and a variety of amplification options for patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Martin enjoys reading, eating a variety of foods and trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and dog, Sailor. She is a Houston Sports fan and loves to cheer on the Texans, Astros, and Rockets.
