About Dr. Prachi Patel
I strive to help my patients better understand their symptoms. Together, we will work to tailor treatment options that help them return to the activities they love and enjoy long lasting pain relief.
Dr. Patel is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician. She believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to managing
chronic pain and works with patients to determine effective therapy and treatment options that align with their individual goals. She is committed to improving patient outcomes both through excellent clinical care and advancements in pain management research, where she has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at several national conferences.
Dr. Patel attended The University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate studies,  and completed her medical education at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. She completed anesthesiology residency at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago, IL and went on to subspecialize in interventional pain management at Harvard’s renowned Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She is excited to practice in her home state of Texas and provide exceptional care.
Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, exploring the Houston food scene, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
