About Dr. Mae Kathleen Borchardt
"My medical philosophy is to provide the highest quality women's health care with compassion and sensitivity. I enjoy caring for my patients from adolescence through menopause and all stages in between. I am committed to personalized care, with attention to each woman's needs and concerns, while utilizing the most current diagnostic and treatment options."
Dr. Borchardt is an obstetrician and gynecologist that cares for women from adolescence through menopause and beyond. She provides care during pregnancy and childbirth and sees patients for preventative visits, family planning and management of abnormal pap smears. She has a particular interest in medical and surgical management of abnormal menstrual bleeding and is trained in minimally invasive procedures, including da Vinci(TM) robotic surgery.
Raised in Denton, Texas, Dr. Borchardt graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2010, Dr. Borchardt earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, and subsequently completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital.
