About Dr. Abdul H. Khan
I strive to make a connection to my patients by listening carefully to the details of their symptoms and how they have been affected. Together, we will work to explore the possibilities for their individualized care plan. It is imperative that patients feel heard, and the more they understand, the better chance we have of developing trust and finding solutions.
Dr. Khan is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital who specializes in advanced endoscopic procedures, including large colon polyp removal, heartburn/acid reflux, swallowing difficulty, pancreatic disease, abdominal pain, and bowel issues.
He completed medical school and his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago. He went on to complete a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA, in 2007, and subsequently completed a Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver in 2008. He was a faculty staff member at the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Associate Professor of Medicine until 2021, when he relocated to Texas to join Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. Khan has numerous articles published in medical journals on various gastroenterology topics.
