Sheshe Giddens (pronounced phonetically as sheɪ sheɪ) is a senior editor at Houston Methodist, managing editor of Leading Medicine and translator of medical speak into plain language that readers can understand and use to make more informed health care decisions.  

When not out saving the world from the rampant misuse of the em dash and hyphen, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Sheshe describes herself as being in a long-term, committed relationship with the written word, as well as being a book lover, anime otaku, DC Comics fangirl, sci-fi/fantasy enthusiast, productivity software guru, lifelong learner and super aunt to many.
