The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Houston Methodist is recognized nationally as a center for innovation and research. Our faculty are driven to uncover new and better treatments for otolaryngologic conditions.

With active clinical trials and industry-sponsored studies, our team engages in greater and more far-reaching research year-over-year. Our work includes partnerships with companies to develop and employ new ways of incorporating big data and artificial intelligence with translational research to develop the latest technologies in the treatment of head and neck conditions.
