Internal Medicine Residency
Training the next generation of medical leaders while integrating top‑level research and leading‑edge technology
The optimally-sized Internal Medicine Residency program thrives in our world-renowned Houston Methodist facilities located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center. Developing well-rounded, compassionate clinicians with the clinical, teaching and leadership skills for practicing medicine in a variety of environments.
Family Medicine Residency
Fostering the next generation of family medicine practitioners
Houston Methodist’s community-based family medicine residency is steeped in the
tradition of caring for the family, including all ages, ethnicities and walks of life.
Along with a dedication to our patients, mutual respect and strong partnerships exist between the residents and the faculty,
which enables residents
to help direct their education and prepare for their individual professional goals, while maintaining a healthy quality of life.
ENMED Program
Become a "Physicianeer"
The revolutionary EnMed program partners Houston Methodist with Texas A&M University to transform healthcare through interdisciplinary translational research, medical technology development, and the training and development of “Physicianeers”.
Woodlands Residency
Our First Community Hospital-Based Residency
Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital (HMTW) now offers a thirty-six month ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program. Our residents will rotate through a variety of core and elective rotations in the outpatient and inpatient setting and participate in a longitudinal continuity clinic. Residents will have the opportunity to work closely with faculty members and cultivate their individual clinical interests.
