Alumni Association

The Houston Methodist Trainee Alumni Association was established in 2016 to reconnect those who have trained in a clinical or research capacity at Houston Methodist Hospital. The alumni association hopes to establish a site and an organization that continues to support the hospital’s mission by providing updates to institutional events, educational programs, and opportunities for all to reengage with alumni from various programs at Houston Methodist.

As we continue to strengthen the association, changes will be coming to the web site, featuring quick, searchable access to the entire alumni database, links to CME and other continuing education opportunities, as well as updates on important Houston Methodist news. The association will be strengthened and sustained by allowing members to contribute content, send e-mail, and register for events.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Houston Methodist through this association and look forward to sharing your stories. At your earliest opportunity, please log in, update your directory listing, and take a look around. If you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at alumniinfo@houstonmethodist.org.

We welcome any feedback you may have as we continue to develop our online site and celebrate this remarkable chapter in Houston Methodist’s strong history.

Join Alumni Association

It's my pleasure to welcome you to the newly established Houston Methodist Trainee Alumni Association! By completing your respective training at Houston Methodist, you are recognized as a member of a renowned group of medical professionals committed to Leading Medicine. Whether you completed a residency or fellowship in one of our more than 40 training programs, one of our allied health practitioner programs in pharmacy, physical therapy, or nursing, trained in one of our leading research laboratories, or participated in one of our global services learners, you left an indelible mark on this institution.

In 2019, Houston Methodist will celebrate its 100th anniversary. The teaching hospital of legendary heart surgeon and medical pioneer, Dr. Michael E. DeBakey, this 'hospital with a soul' has been instrumental in training thousands over the years and it is each and every one of us who has contributed to this excellence. You are the origins of one of U.S. News and World Report’s Honor Roll Hospitals for 2016 and are critical to ensuring that the emphasis that Houston Methodist places on unparalleled quality, safety, service, and innovation are embedded wherever you have taken your talents.

It is the hope of the alumni program, that we can reengage you in Houston Methodist as strong allies for this institution. Through this association, we will strive to reconnect you to your fellow trainees, provide a networking system for referral opportunities, and encourage you to participate in ongoing educational activities that the Houston Methodist Academic Institute sponsors. As we continue to build the alumni database, I encourage you to reach out and let us know where you are and what you are doing in your professional career. This is a time to celebrate our successes and reconnect in a way that will strengthen our commitment to medicine, education, Houston Methodist, and each other.

We would love to hear from you! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at alumni@houstonmethodist.org and share your current contact information with us so we can begin to include you in future communications.
