Weill Cornell Medicine

Houston Methodist is the Houston Campus of the Weill Cornell Medicine Graduate School, offering Weill Cornell PhD degree programs with a strong translational focus in Neuroscience and Physiology, Biophysics & Systems Biology . The affiliates also offer a joint Mentored Clinical Research Training Program for physician scientists beginning a career in clinical trials. Houston Methodist are eligible for faculty appointments to the Weill Cornell Medical School and the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences.

Texas A&M

 The Health Science Center, an independent Texas state agency and academic unit of Texas A&M University, shares mission priorities with Houston Methodist – to develop research and education programs that reflect health care practice in the 21st century, including the impact of technology, patient-empowerment, precision medicine, novel drug delivery systems and interdisciplinary sciences. Houston Methodist and Texas A&M launched the EnMed School of Engineering Medicine as a joint initiative to offer students interested in innovation the ability to earn an MD/Master of Engineering dual degree while learning to problem-solve healthcare’s greatest challenges . These programs advance the health initiatives of the state of Texas and advance health care for patients around the world.
