Community Grants Overview
Houston Methodist is committed to investing in its surrounding community, providing access to health care while addressing social determinants which can lead to health inequities. Our investments target the communities most served by Houston Methodist which include the eight counties of Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery and Waller.
Houston Methodist offers funding opportunities through two grant programs, the Community Benefits Grant Program and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Grant Program, focusing on the health priorities and social determinants outlined in the latest Community Health Needs Assessment. The Community Benefits Grant Program focuses on increasing access to health care for underserved communities and offers the Community Benefits Grant and the Mental Health Innovation Grant. The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Grant Program focuses on addressing social determinants of health within minority groups and offers the Social Equity Grant and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Grant.
