Houston Methodist employees shaping the community.
The difference between practicing medicine and leading it.
In support of Houston Methodist's commitment to the I CARE values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence, eligible employees are encouraged to take time off to volunteer at approved community organizations through I CARE in Action, the system’s official employee volunteer program. Since the program's inception, Houston Methodist employees have contributed more than 30,000 hours of volunteer time to the Greater Houston area. With more than 40 participating nonprofit partners, employees are able to give their time and talents to support the most vulnerable of our community.
You must be an active employee of Houston Methodist and have a registered volunteer profile to participate. To register as a volunteer for the program, to sign up to participate in individual or group volunteer events or to see a current list of approved community organizations, please review the tabs below. For more information, please review our Frequently Asked Questions or contact us.
We invite employees to join us for this year’s I CARE in Action Week supporting healthy neighborhoods through quality, affordable housing.
