The Workforce Inclusivity Scholarship Program Administered by the Office of DEI is a hands-on and immersive 8-week experience designed to broaden the participant’s perspective of career possibilities in the health care industry. Individuals will work in-person with their leader during the part-time (20 hours per week) program in a non-clinical department to learn more about operations and career opportunities in health care.
Our scholarship program is designed to offer valuable work experience, mentorship and professional development opportunities within our organization. Participants will gain experience in their chosen fields, receive guidance from seasoned professionals, and participate in tailored training sessions aimed at fostering career growth and enhancing skills.
Our goal is to empower participants to succeed in their careers while contributing meaningfully to our dynamic health care environment.
Program Requirements
The Workforce Inclusivity Scholarship Program requires a 20-hour per week part-time commitment over the 8-week duration for individuals with disabilities. In-person attendance is mandatory, with no scheduled days off except for the Thanksgiving holiday.
